ADAM HICKS
"Wen Gifford"

Adam Hicks stars as Wen Gifford, the stalwart Lemonade Mouth keyboardist who discovers the importance of family in the Disney Channel Original Movie "Lemonade Mouth." Hicks has songwriting credits on three of the "Lemonade Mouth" music tracks and is the first Disney Channel/Disney XD star to write lyrics for a performance-based song on a Disney Channel Original Movie. He also stars as Luther Waffles, a lovable but absentminded teenager whose only objective is to become a world-famous skateboarder, in the Disney XD comedy series "Zeke and Luther."

Hicks first knew he wanted to act after seeing the movie "Home Alone" at the age of five, and developed his craft in local theater productions. On the silver screen he landed the leading role in "Down and Derby" and "The Twelve Dogs of Christmas." He earned a Young Artists Award for Best Young Ensemble in a Feature Film for his role as Joe Guire, the school bully, in "How to Eat Fried Worms." He also co-starred in Disney's remake of "The Shaggy Dog," starring Tim Allen.

In 2010 Hicks guest starred as the posturing neighbor in "JONAS L.A." Among his other television credits are ABC's "That Was Then," "The Funkenhousers" and "Titus."

He has performed and collaborated on three Disney XD music videos, "Happy Universal Holidays," the hip hop spin on the classic song, "In the Summertime," and the remake of the MC Hammer hit, "U Can't Touch This."

Hicks enjoys playing the drums, skateboarding, hip hop dancing and writing and performing his own rap songs. He is also a black belt in Tae Kwon Do.

Born November 28, 1992, in Las Vegas, Nevada, Hicks currently resides in Torrance, California with his parents, brother and their two dogs and three cats.
